I love my lil’ familia.
I take pride in ensuring they’re taken care of regularly – hot meals ready by dinner time, clean covers at night, you know, the ‘everyday’ little things.
My pup Brooklyn is no exception. She’s our family dog: 10 months old & a Pit/Mastiff bull mix. We took her in when she was only a month old. One challenge we’ve continually dealt with as she grew older is her separation anxiety – and this is still something we’re working on to this day. I am very happy & pleased that her reactions to us being separate have improved; those first few nights of her staying a part from us are moments I wont ever forget. Her cries; my baby Brooklyn.
At this stage of her life, the only real separation anxiety we deal with mostly is while the hubby and I are away at work. Once we return home, Brooklyn. Goes. Crazy! That’s been the case up until recently when we tried out Dope Dog Calming Crunchies – and the results were immediate. We gave her a treat right when we left & upon returning home, she was excited – as she always is – but in a much calm, cooler & collective tone. We were immediately hooked.
Dope Dog is CA based product specializing in cannabinoid-rich hemp products. All products are tested by a third-party & are deemed safe and healthy for your pup. As someone who is a supporter of cannabis, I was more than excited to try out these products with Brooklyn. On top of being beneficial for separation anxiety, Dope Dog also helps with joint pain, epilepsy, inflammation and issues that may arise to your pup’s aging. I have not come across a product such as this one and am very thankful to have found it – this is a much needed product in our current dog market.
Though Brooklyn doesn’t have any other issues with the exception of her separation anxiety, it’s nice to know she is being treated for the other issues prior to them becoming a problem for her.
Be sure to check out the Dope Dog website & their Instagram.
Are there specific treats you reach for to her your puppy/dog with anxiety or any other issues? Please let me know in the comments below!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by.
“I am my own muse. I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to better.”
― Frida Kahlo
The universe has a weird way of working: I am a believer that the timing of things are all due to the ‘most high’ (whatever or whoever you associate that with) and in a way, are pre-planned. The Universe already has the ending result staged for you – it all depends on your actions and whether or not you accept the opportunities & challenges that come your way. Patience holds a huge part in finding the route to your successes – and moving to Florida has really instilled that in me.
Moving from the heart of the Big Apple to suburban FL has shown me a different side to life – the main lesson has been putting more energy and time into my foundation. Being the mama, I have to really nurture and love my family whenever it’s needed and that means sometimes putting side projects to a pause. I’m learning to embrace the pause while still finding the motivation to continue making the time.
Through local connections I’ve made, I was introduced to a fellow Latina, Yanitza Ninett, who also recently moved to Florida from Puerto Rico and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a real pleasure working with someone who’s vision perfectly aligns with your own. It was real inspiration – and it happened at a time when my inspiration hasn’t been fully there. This was something I needed and I’m beyond excited to work with her again.
I’ve been searching for my motivation and doing this shoot gave me exactly that.
Be sure to check out Yanitza’s IG page – she has real drive when it comes to photography! Her work is amazing – she specializes in portrait photography, but has experience in weddings, family sessions/maternity and is now branching out into commercial.
Please let me know which shot is your favorite!
Thank you for stopping by. Sending my love, forever & always:
Is this real? Is this Glendaly really posting something on the blog. Wait, who’s GCeeStyle?
I’m sure there are a lot of questions popping into your head right about now, ie: Where have I Been? Why the name change? What caused my absence? Definitely stay tuned, I have another blogpost coming soon that will answer all of these questions. But to keep this post short & simple, I’ve officially stepped out of my shell in this 8 month long [hiatus &] transition to FL.
I have gone through so many obstacles, stages and changes these past few months; I am beyond happy to finally be comfortable in my space. I filmed a little outfit’s video styling my black H&M Turtle neck in 3 office inspired looks – I’m still working on finding the right spot to film at home. I think I may have found it, next step is to work on creating creatively there.
I hope you enjoy this video! I’m totally still woking on getting my groove, and set-up, back.
Which outfit did you like best? 1, 2 or 3?
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Forever & always sending my love.
It’s my last day in New York City!
What better way to spend my last day then with an NYC themed OOTD video. This one was filmed by one of my good friends, Kendrin; also known as Koid24 on Instagram. Filming is his thing and I am so happy we manage to get a little collaboration video in before I left permanently.
The vision was most definitely in sync: I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
Kae and I were treated to a lil’ bowling date by Kendrin & his bae a few weeks ago. Just sit back, relax, and relive a NYC night with me.
Thank you so much for stopping by & watching!
Mad love, forever & always.
It’s been a good minute since I picked up a camera & shot on manual.
Before I started my blog, heck, before I even started my YouTube channel, I first became interested being behind the camera. I even applied to FIT in the hopes of majoring in Fashion Photography. But I’ll be honest, I didn’t really commit to photography the way I should have and wasn’t really surprised when I got my rejection letter, either. Life. It happens.
& I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve been feeling super nostalgic lately – I’ve been itching to get back into old habits.
With that in play & my current, serious obsession with the whole Mom/Daughter-Blogger-Duo-thing, I decided to spend an afternoon shooting with my mini. When we’re out and about, she always asks me to take her photos – this just felt right.
At the end, I asked her if she had fun doing the shoot and she yelled “Yes!” with no hesitation.

During the first week of May, I met up with my friend and fellow Fashion Blogger, Melody Rosa, to do an interview dedicated to my motherhood. It was such a lovely experience and I seriously cannot wait to collaborate with Melody again!
Thank you, Melody, for dedicating a post to me the week of Mother’s Day. I’m beyond honored.
We both collaborated on the styling: Melody was awesome enough to let me raid her closet to pick out outfits. She added in her favorite shoes & accessories throughout the entire process.
Oh, and she also had wine at hand the entire time – and boy, was that much needed. Wine & fashion? Yes & yes.
Here are some of my favorite photos from this collaboration:
Which was your favorite look?

I’ve watched a few open journal type videos on youtube and always had an interest in creating my own version. I was a bit scared at first, because it’s completely different from anything else I’ve done on my channel; it’s a lot more personal. Nonetheless, I decided to go for it.
This summer was pretty wild: I’ve experienced so much, both physically and emotionally. Self love and growth have been the stars of my summer, and I am blessed to have had all of the opportunities given to me. To be honest, I’m a bit heart broken that summer is officially over.
Becoming the mom I’ve always wanted, finding the balance of living with a partner, and learning how to love myself have been such surreal lessons I’ve learned.
I’m beyond excited to see where the fall season takes me.
Here, my open journal for Summer 2015:
Thank you for stopping by.
I know I haven’t posted any blogposts this week; it’s been a weird week for me.
I explain it all here:
Peace. Love. Harmony.
My last favorites video was uploaded in April, I’ve since then found a few new things that I’m obsessed with.
There has also been a lot of changes in my life, so at the end of the video, I give y’all a bit of a life update. Beware, though, my baby girl totally interrupts at the end.
Here are my current obsessions:
Happy Hump Day:
First things first: I know the photos in this post are a bit different from my previous ones, that’s all thanks to one of my closest homies Oscar Rivera. His skills are insane. We are planning on collaborating weekly, so my outfit photos are going to be a bit more on the artsy side. What do y’all thing? Are you diggin’ them?
Check out his work HERE.
I was totally inspired by the moon with this outfit. This white moto vest has been in my closet for about two years now. I bought this piece about 2-3 weeks before I found out I was pregnant, so I haven’t had the chance to really style it. With being a mom & not fitting into my smaller sizes, this piece was just collecting dust in my closet. It’s definitely the main focus of my outfit. I was going for an edgy, astronaut look. Ha. Can’t even take myself seriously typing that.
I combined my Brandy Melville black tie dye tank with my Neff x Jhene Aiko shorts because mixing prints is just one of my favorite things to do when it comes to fashion. I thought it was a fun way to rock the mono trend, while still keeping the funky feeling I normally aim for.
For shoes, I went with my black Steve Madden Ankle booties. I was originally going to rock a pair of mono heeled booties, but I wanted to keep this look relatively casual. These booties are one of my favorite pair of shoes because I can wear it with almost any outfit I put together.
Lace up booties is love. Lace up booties is life.
As for my bag, if you’ve been following me, you would know that it’s my only black purse. My favorite thing about this bag, though, has to be the fact that its fringe. I love adding fringe to non-bohemian outfits, it’s the perfect way to add a bit of “chill vibes.”
Let me know what you guys think of these new photos!
How would you style an all white moto vest?
